David Woolsteen has been playing volleyball for over twelve years. He began playing beach volleyball in college where he worked his way up through the divisions to play Open level volleyball and traveled extensively, playing on various Pro-Am tours such as the Budlight, Jose Cuervo and East End volleyball tours. He has won a Gold Medal, two Silver medals and a Bronze medal in the Georgia Games, as well as many other tournament titles. He has also played USA volleyball for many years, but prefers the beach game.

Sherry Trimble is starting her fifth season with Pope JV Volleyball.
She has led Pope JV to win three consecutive Cobb County Area Championships ('07, '08, '09). Trimble has previously coached for Marion Juniors (IN), Lakeway Volleyball (TN), Campbell High School, and A5.

Coach Trimble attended Carson-Newman College and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education with Liberal Studies. She played four years at Carson-Newman as a setter and helped lead her team to two conference titles and the schools first appearance to the NCAA Division II National Tournament. Her senior year the team finished 31-7 - the best season in school history. Coach Trimble holds the career assists record and single season assist record for the school.

Coach Trimble is starting her seventh year teaching at Fair Oaks Elementary. This is her third year working as a Science Specialist and implementing learning outdoors in an Outdoor Classroom. Sherry completed her masters at Kennesaw State University in Educational Leadership with emphasis in Technology in 2008.

Junior Varsity Assistant Coach - Carrie Trimble

Carrie played volleyball competitively for Marion High School and Marion Juniors Volleyball Club as setter and defensive specialist. 

She attended Carson Newman College in East TN pursuing a nursing degree. Due to the demanding nursing courses, she did not play volleyball for the college team. However, she stayed involved with the team; serving as scorekeeper and libero tracker at all the home matches. After graduating with a Bachelors of Science in nursing in May of 2005. She moved to the Metro Atlanta area in August of 2007. She works in the ICU at Kennestone Hospital and began coaching with Sherry at this time. This is her fourth season coaching for Pope High School.
